NOHSL Texas Hold'em Fundraiser

NOHSL would like to thank everyone who attended our Texas Hold'em fundraiser on Saturday, March 29th. We had a great turnout and we thank everyone for their support of our league. The proceeds from the night will be put toward fixing up the fields our children play on during the season.
NOHSL would also like to thank Hungry Howie's, Domino's, Moe's Mexican Grille, Caribou Coffee, Pepperidge Farm and Chic-Fil-A for their generous donations and discounts for the food that was provided. Thank you also to Gameco for the use of the playing tables and chips at a discounted rate.
Many thanks to all those who volunteered time from their busy schedules to help out. Our sincerest apprecation goes out to our card dealers, Officer Kilbane, kitchen help, our Fundraising Committee and the NOHSL board members who helped make the evening run smoothly.
Again, thank you to everyone who helped make the evening a success. You can check out the photos here.
Help NOHSL Turn your "Trash to Cash" for our League
Starting in April, NOHSL will be participating in a recycling program in which we will collect plastic yogurt containers, energy bar wrappers and juice pouches. Just drop off your containers, wrappers and pouches in the designated bins at the fields and we will turn your "trash into cash". For more information about this program, you can take a look at our flyer or contact Kevin Federer. Thank you for your support.

History of NOHSL
NOHSL is looking for any information that we can use to compile a history of our league. If we can gather enough information, we'd like to put together a book which can be sold as a fundraiser for the league. We can use pictures, artifacts/memorabilia or any basic general history info. Anyone who has any information or knows anyone who can help is asked to please contact Kevin Federer. Thanks!
NOHSL Receives a grant from the Lake County captains!
On Sunday, May 22, 2007, NOHSL was awarded a grant in the amount of $500 from the Lake County Captains. Pictured below is our Fundraising chairman, Kevin Federer (to the right of the mascot), who was presented with a check that was divided among others who were given grants as well.
