If an umpire sees lightning and calls the game, THE GAME IS OVER IMMEDIATELY!! We don't wait to see if it passes. At any point a league official or an umpire says game over due to lightning, there will be no argument or discussion. The game is over. Safety is first and foremost.
If a team is up by 10 runs at any time after the 5th inning then the game is called. The home team gets their at bats only if the visitors are the ones up by 10. This is not just for the 5th inning. Once 5 have been played the 10 run rule is in effect.
At any point in a game, when a team is up by 10 or more runs after 2 hours have been played, the game is called. This is the only time a time limit exists in G or F league. All H games are governed by a 2 hour rule but G & F have no time limit unless there is a difference of 10 runs or more.
Playoffs/Tournament or Championship Games: The only league with a time limit is H1 and H2. G and F are no time limit. The only two ways a game in G or F is called is due to weather or darkness. If darkness, the remaining portion of the game will be rescheduled for another date. If the game is called for weather and 5 innings have been completed, it is an official game.
No game can be started without (9) players. Both teams need (9) to start not (8) and bat around until you get to that player spot. It is only (9) players. If you have a forfeit, you are more than welcome to have a scrimmage and the umpires will stay for (5) innings.
In G and H we have a continuous batting order and therefore everyone who is on the roster bats. When a game is called due to darkness and rescheduled for another day and an injury occurs to one of your players in the meantime, the following rules apply. In the event that everyone is present and an injury takes place in-between games, the person who is injured is scratched and in essence everyone moves up a notch on the batting order and that player is skipped when you get to his position. However, if someone wasn't present for the game and they replace the injured player, they are able to be moved from the bottom location and replace the injured player in the batting order. This is only available when a player was not in the first game.
